VFW Post 3783 News:
Since there is a band playing on Karaoke night, Karaoke has been
moved to Friday, May 31st. Memorial Day 2013
2013 Ramona Rodeo Parade
Ramona VFW
Post 3783 had a recent ceremony to honor Eagle Scout Benjamin
Anderson-Parks from Troop 130 for achieving the title of 2013 Scout
of the Year by both Post 3783 and the First District of California.
In addition to the certificates, Post Senior Vice Commander Robert Yates,
presented Benjamin with a plaque and a check for $250.00 from the Post and
$200.00 from the First District of California. The purpose of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States is to preserve and support the patriotic and historical interests of our country, our communities and our veterans; to strengthen the common bonds of the men and women who have served and who are currently serving in our military; to assist them and their families to enhance their quality of life; to maintain true allegiance to the Constitution and laws of the United States of America and defend her from all enemies, whomsoever. |
